LifeHacker has an excerpt from the second Knoppix Hacks Book, and asks for comments about everyone’s favorite LiveCD.
CLICK brings news about a new book all about Damn Small Linux. This will be the first LiveCD book for a distro other than Knoppix, or LiveCDs in general (at least that I know of).
Red Hat Magazine reviews the first book dedicated to remastering a variety of different LiveCDs.
DesktopLinux.com has a quick review of a book which comes with an Ubuntu LiveCD.
Gnuman.com has a brief review of the Linux Bible 2006 Edition. Inside it covers some different LiveCDs.
The Linux Tutorial has a review of Moving to Linux Second Edition, a book based around learning Linux with a LiveCD.
The CD contained in the book is a somewhat modified (by Gagne’) version of a Knoppix Live CD. The best you can do is take Linux out for a test drive on your Windows box.
As seen on Digg, O’Reilly has posted a hack from their Knoppix Hacks book showing how to use a Knoppix CD to scan a Windows machine for viruses.
InfoWorld has a short review of Knoppix Hacks, my personal favorite LiveCD book.
